Charger Type Consultation
Choosing the right EV charger can be confusing with so many options available. That's why our team takes the time to talk you through the choices, whether that's a tethered charger with a built-in cable for convenience, or an untethered version for greater flexibility. We'll also advise on charging speeds, from a standard 7kW charger suited to most homes, to a faster 22kW option if your property's supply allows, as well as smart chargers with app connectivity, scheduling, and energy usage tracking. We'll help you find the charger that best suits your vehicle, lifestyle, and budget.
Home set-ups
Smart Charger Setup
For those looking to get the most out of their home charging experience, we install and configure smart EV chargers that put you in control. Smart chargers connect to an app on your phone, allowing you to monitor charging sessions, track energy usage, and schedule charging times to take advantage of off-peak electricity rates. Our team will ensure your smart charger is fully set up and connected from day one, giving you a convenient, cost-effective, and efficient way to charge your vehicle at home.
Operating from our base in Corby, we cover Northamptonshire and neighbouring areas such as Kettering, Market Harborough, and Northampton.
Rewiring
Whether you're renovating an older property, extending your home, or simply concerned about the condition of your current wiring, DLN Electrical provides safe, reliable full and partial rewiring services.
Old or faulty wiring can pose serious safety risks, including electric shocks and fire hazards, so it's essential to have it assessed and upgraded by qualified professionals. Our City & Guilds qualified electricians will carry out a thorough assessment of your property, discuss your requirements, and complete the rewiring to the highest standard, with minimal disruption to your home or business
EICRs
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is essential for identifying any potential hazards, damage, or wear within your property's electrical system. Whether you're a homeowner, landlord, or business owner, regular EICRs help ensure your electrics remain safe, compliant, and up to date with current regulations. Our NAPIT registered electricians will carry out a comprehensive inspection of your electrical installation, checking for issues such as outdated wiring, overloaded circuits, and faulty components.
Emergency Call-outs
Electrical emergencies don't wait for a convenient time, and neither do we. Whether it's a total power loss, a burning smell from a socket, sparking wires, or a tripped circuit you can't reset, DLN Electrical is on hand to respond quickly and get your home or business safe again. We understand how stressful and disruptive an electrical emergency can be, which is why we work quickly, efficiently, and without cutting corners, giving you a proper, lasting fix rather than a temporary solution.
